The ice is gone, when only a week ago there was still skating!

I went for a walk around the lake today and the ice was gone! It was so very nice. Granted, I like ice skating and hockey as much as the next non-Canadian does, but when I can take my dogs and stroll around the lake in shorts and a T shirt a week after people were ice skating, I LOVE it! This means Spring is here and Summer’s not far behind! Then a trip to Stage Coach park with the kids and later, burgers on the Bar B Q and this has been a good day.
